Acute Critical Event Simulation

The CRI ACES course is designed for physicians: primarily Family Physicians with special emphasis on those who take shifts in Emergency departments and General Internists who may be infrequently called upon to manage critically ill patients. It is also offered to medical residents and Critical Care Fellows. The goal of ACES is to provide an approach to the acute resuscitation of acutely ill patients. The ACES course introduces the concepts of crisis resource management (CRM) along with approach strategies and practical skills required in the early resuscitation of acutely ill patients. The format of the course is four half-day modules covering: Airway, Breathing, Circulation along with other topics such as sepsis and massive bleeding.
